Week 3 was very adventurous to say the least! First the week started out at DEC  where Ideal encountered an issue with a new innovation to iron work. When finishing up sequence’s 1-4 on building AB, it required installing a new diagonal bracing system that gives the stadium a modern look. The bracing being new to Ideal, introduced new problems. The bracing is held together with two pins, the pins have a 1/32 of an inch gap to fit into place. In steel erection there is normally more freedom when connecting the steel pieces. When the piece was lifted into place the holes were off by 7/8 of an inch. The team decided to level and plum the building before attempting the braces again. Through the patience and precision of Ideal’s steel team the pins fit into place and saved us a lot of paperwork. Adding on to my week I began my trip to Hungary, For the few days I have been here it feels like I haven’t even seen a quarter of beautiful sites the country has to offer. Here are some pictures of the diagonal bracing and some landmarks in Hungar
